Messiah College – Lottie Nelson Dining Hall

A substantial growth in Messiah College’s student enrollment led to the need for many campus renovations, including the expansion of their existing dining facility. Designed by Spillman Farmer, this dining center addition accommodates an additional 250 students.

Designed by Spillman Farmer, the dining center addition relieves overcrowding and provides an additional 250 seats. The flexible dining area can be divided into smaller spaces to accommodate simultaneous catering events and meetings in addition to its daily operations.

Along with the expansion of the Sollenberger Sports Center and Central Heat and Power (CHP) Plant, the Lottie Nelson Dining Hall was part of Messiah’s overall Student Enhancement Project to improve the student experience and integrate efficient and environmentally conscious energy sources throughout the campus.
