Spillman Farmer Architects Announces Key Promotions

[Bethlehem, Pennsylvania] — Spillman Farmer Architects has announced two significant promotions to strengthen the firm’s leadership. Christian Didra has been promoted to Principal, and Chris Worton has been elevated to Associate Architect.

Christian Didra joined Spillman Farmer in 2018 and has distinguished himself as a skilled designer. Christian’s 14 years of experience, combined with his passion for serving clients and his talent for architecture, make him a critical asset to the firm.  He remains committed to advancing the field of architecture locally as a mentor to middle school and high school students through various STEAM workshops.  Christian also serves on the Emmaus Planning Commission, where he advises on the development of various projects and improvements for the borough of Emmaus, where he resides with his wife and 2-year-old daughter.  Christian earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University (now Jefferson University).  He is a Registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a member of AIA and NCARB, and seeking licensure in New Jersey.

Chris Worton joined Spillman Farmer in early 2021, bringing a wealth of experience across a diverse range of projects, including corporate offices, cultural and institutional facilities, academic buildings, and high-end residences. He spent nearly eight years in New York City working for several well-known and reputable architectural firms. Chris has extensive expertise in designing and managing interior renovation projects, as well as conducting programming and interior space planning studies. His focus on materiality and scale on projects has brought a high degree of refinement to numerous SFA projects. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Lehigh University and a Master of Architecture from The Ohio State University.  He is a Registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
