Spillman Farmer’s team has designed nearly every building type that exists on a school or university campus – including admissions centers, classrooms and laboratories, athletic facilities and fields, student and dining centers, libraries and residence halls, and physical plants. We attribute this success across program type to our approach: our educational projects – public or private, K-12 or higher education – are learner-focused and informed by the unique vision, mission, and pedagogies of each institution. Our team is passionate about taking every opportunity to both facilitate education and instruct building users through architectural design. We believe that every building should reveal its working and show clear evidence of how and why it was made. Every component should be on display, imparting wisdom and becoming a learning experience for building users.
